SS19 Style Notes

It feels a little strange talking about spring/summer style when it’s still snowing and super cold outside. When it comes to fashion forecasting I feel there’s a lot of different opinions and views going around about what is going to be on trend this spring. In this post I wanted to share my own predictions for the season and list the trends I think are worth investing in. The key is to not buy into every trend and to just keep developing your own personal style.

Keep It Neutral

Nude tones, browns & dusty pink are colours that are still going strong this season. Co-ords in these shades look so good combined with white chunky sneakers, an eye-catching handbag and bold accessories.

This spring is all about basic, simple outfits made interesting with accessories. Big belts, anklets, bumbags, scarves, bucket hats and flashy earrings - make your pick or just rock them all.

Bring Out The Sunnies

It doesn’t matter whether the sun is shining or not, sunglasses are the number one accessory this season. You can go with the classic models or try something new. In addition to the round-frame model from Ray-Ban you can choose between the cat-eye or the sporty visor style, which are both still super stylish.

Mix & Match

If you’re feeling indecisive when dressing up this season, just go with the crazier option. Be brave in mixing and matching styles, materials and prints.

Keep Your Hair In Line

I’m really lazy with doing my hair but this spring I’m going to get my act together. Showy hair ties, pins and clips are an easy way to add something new and interesting to your outfits! Just tie your hair up and finish off the look with for example a hair comb or a row of pins.
